The present disclosure provides methods for controlling a guided missile to account for environmental uncertainties and maintain optimal mission performance and minimize error in hitting a defined target anywhere on Earth. First, sensors collect data about the missile's environment, passing the information to storage in the missile's database and processor. Second, the missile's processor manipulates the database with a deep reinforcement learning algorithm producing instructions. Third, the instructions command the missile's control system for optimal control, target engagement, and impact by manipulating the missile's thrust vectors for guidance. In short, the disclosure provides methods for autonomous missile control which command the missile from launch to target with certainty regardless of weather conditions, environment dynamics, or defensive missile interference.

An accessory mounting attachment for repeatable precise alignment on a rifle has a mounting section with a top rail. The mounting section has a forward portion with a rear sight leg configured for a pivotable mounting to a rear sight base on the rifle, and a rearward portion with a lock down assembly configured to fix the mounting section to a connecting lug at a rear of a receiver of the rifle. The lock down assembly includes an eccentric element, a lug latching frame, and a coupling element connecting the two. Rotation of the eccentric element by a lever section causes the lug latching frame to move vertically and engage/latch with the connecting lug, so that the accessory mounting attachment is consistently and securely fixed in a same position relative to a barrel of the rifle, which keeps a sighting device attached to the top rail zeroed to the rifle.

An anti-skip ballistic protector is provided, including a ballistic panel having a front face, a rear face, and an upper end. A portion of the upper end of the ballistic panel is folded and secured to the front face of the ballistic panel to provide a raised edge configured to stop a flying projectile. The upper end is heat-sealed and stitched to the front face of the ballistic panel, and in some examples, the ballistic panel includes a ply of ballistic material. A collapsible ballistic body armor system having a linear arrangement of two to four armor panels in a deployment condition defining a rectangular prism array of armor panels shielding the front of the user. Each adjacent armor panel is interconnected along their respective edges by a hinge connection so that the collapsible ballistic body armor system is movable between the deployment condition and a folded position. In the deployment condition, a cover panel pivotably attached to each armor panel pivots to cover a gap between each adjacent armor panel. The present disclosure provides a shooting color-changing target paper and a manufacturing process thereof, comprising a substrate paper layer, a BOPP optical film layer which is provided above the substrate paper layer and a UV-printing ink layer which is provided above the BOPP optical film layer. The manufacturing process comprises: S 1 : preparing a substrate; S 2 : attaching a BOPP optical film; S 3 : placing the substrate on a printing device; S 4 : printing a target paper pattern; S 5 : curing with a UV lamp; and S 6 : packaging a finished product. According to the present disclosure, the BOPP optical film layer is attached to the substrate paper and then the target paper pattern is printed on the optical film through UV without repeated printing. By drying and curing the ink through the UV lamp, the produced target paper may be immediately packaged for use without ventilation and drying, resulting in a higher production efficiency.

The present invention is a mobile app using a mobile computing device's camera and microphone to monitor and score metrics for a shooting drill assigned to a marksman on the display of the mobile computing device. Mobile computing devices for multiple users of the mobile app are in networked communication with a server. The individual data points for total time, split time(s), reaction time(s), accuracy, and precision as well as an overall combined score can be saved for each marksman and compared to other marksmen's shooting metrics. Scores can also be assessed based on decision making, such as shoot/threat vs. no shoot/nonthreat. The present invention also provides a virtual shooting range in which users engage in online community activities, competitions, forums, skill building, and training. The mobile app receives wireless signals from a dynamic target stand indicating a target is turned and automatically correlates target turns with the shot clock.

In one embodiment, a target shooting system includes (i) a target unit deployable at a first location at or near a location of a target, and (ii) a base unit deployable at a second location different from the first location. The target unit can further be configured to (a) detect projectile hits on the target and (b) communicate data relating to the projectile hits to the base unit via the communication link. The present disclosure can include a system including an outer shell, the outer shell including at least one aperture, and an inner shell having an aperture therethrough. The at least one aperture of the outer shell can be part of an array of apertures azimuthally distributed on the outer shell. The system can further include an actuator configured to control a rotational alignment of one of the inner shell and the outer shell to alter aerodynamic bleed through a portion of the at least one aperture of the outer shell. The actuator can be configured alter the rotational alignment of the inner shell and the outer shell based at least in part on a desired steering direction of the aerostructure.

An air-based counter-countermeasure (CCM) system includes an autonomous or semi-autonomous unmanned aircraft capable of deployment to an area of a countermeasure system having (1) a laser detector to receive and identify an incident laser signal as a target designator signal and (2) one or more countermeasure subsystems operative in response to an output of the laser detector to deploy corresponding countermeasures against a laser target designator. The CCM system further includes a laser-based CCM subsystem carried by the aircraft, the CCM subsystem being configured and operative, during the deployment of the aircraft, to direct a simulated target designator laser signal to the laser detector of the countermeasure system to trigger one or more of the countermeasures and thereby reduce protective ability of the countermeasure system against subsequent laser-guided attack.

The signal transfer module includes an enclosure having a bore, an input end, and an output end, an initiator positioned adjacent to the first perforator unit and at least partially in the enclosure, an initiator, an igniter, a fuse, and an isolator. The initiator generates a shock wave when initiated. The igniter is positioned in the enclosure and generates a low order output upon receiving the shock wave generated by the initiator. The fuse is positioned in the enclosure and is initiated by the low order output of the igniter. The fuse outputs a high order output from the output end of the enclosure. The isolator secures the fuse body in the bore of the enclosure. The isolator includes a shock attenuator. Only the shock attenuator physically connects the fuse to the enclosure.
