The projectile also includes a fin assembly operably engaged with the body between the nose and the tail and is positioned outside of the chamber, wherein a fin of the fin assembly is moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, the fin is stowed completely between the nose and the tail. In the deployed position, a portion of the fin extends away from the nose or from the tail.

A handgun simulation assembly that mates a virtual reality (VR) controller having a trigger finger button with a handgun grip and trigger in order to better simulate the feel of a typical handgun for a VR environment. The handgun simulation assembly includes a handgun body with a mating cradle that is designed to receive and hold a VR controller. The mating cradle has an engaged position where the VR controller is affixed to the handgun body and an unengaged position where the VR controller is released. When the mating cradle is in the engaged position, the VR controller can be oriented such that the trigger finger button is positioned downward, and the control pad is positioned rearward and facing the user. The mating cradle allows various subassemblies to access the buttons on the VR controller to provide a more realistic handgun experience when in a VR environment.

A suppression kit of a countermeasure system and methods of use thereof. The suppression kit includes a breaching expendable that is adapted to be stored inside of a magazine of the countermeasure system. The suppression kit also includes a cover that operably engages with the breaching expendable. The cover is configured to one of suppress electromagnetic signals from penetrating into a dispenser of the countermeasure system, prevent optical or visual view of contents within the countermeasure system, and suppress environmental impacts from entering into the countermeasure system. The breaching expendable is configured to eject the cover from the dispenser prior to ejection of at least one countermeasure expendable of a set of countermeasure expendables.
