A transportable well completion tool is described. The transportable well completion tool comprises a housing with a charge module disposed within the housing. The charge module comprises explosive charges. An initiator module comprising a detonator is coupled to the housing, and a bulkhead member is disposed within the housing between the initiator module and the charge module. A containment cover is secured to the housing to cover the detonator. The transportable well completion tool can be transported with the containment cover in place, and the containment cover can be removed to connect the well completion tool to a tool string for downhole deployment.

The controller module is retained at a location accessible to a wearer person fitted with the bulletproof article of apparel and has a switch to permit the wearer person to switch the battery power on/off and regulate the voltage supply to the electrical heating conductors. Feedback means informs the wearer person of the operating mode provided by a switch actuation by the wearer person.

The present disclosure describes a foldable firearm that collapses into a folded state under spring pressure. The foldable firearm may include a foldable grip assembly. The foldable grip assembly may include a foldable pistol grip, a foldable trigger assembly, a folding bar, and a foldable hand stop. The foldable grip assembly may fold into the top shell of the foldable firearm. The foldable firearm may also include an ambidextrous charging handle assembly that may include a bottom portion, a top portion, a guide bar, and two opposing charging handles. The charging handles may be pulled to unfold the foldable firearm, and/or butterflied such that pivoting one charging handle causes the other charging handle to pivot. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled rearwards to unfold the firearm. The first-pivoted charging handle may then be pulled further rearwards to rack the slide of the foldable firearm.

A tiny and portable micro-spectrometer deployable in a bullet-like form that is inexpensive to the point that it can even be disposable is described. The device is based on the micro-spectrometer that uses the Fresnel diffraction principle that allows a tiny implementation with a nanometer resolving power of spectral signal. A bullet-like micro-spectrometer has an integration of a super capacitor as a power source, a charging coil for the super capacitor, an LED or laser diode light source and driver, an analog to digital converter (ADC) circuit, and a telemetry system with antenna string. An LED or laser diode runs in a burst mode to generate deep or vacuum UV to excite target material. When the excited state of target material undergoes a singlet or triplet transition, this transition process yields fluorescence or luminescence which is a material-dependent. The micro-spectrometer senses and uses this spectral emission from material to identify the spectral signature of the targeted material. The data is converted by an ADC and transmitted to a receiving station.

A helmet rim lighting system comprises a helmet attach mechanism and a housing holding electronics. When attached to a helmet, the housing produces both forward and downward lights. The forward light is generated by at least one forward-facing light, and the downward light is produced by at least one downward-facing light. The forward light directs light from the center horizontally to the left and right, both over 90 degrees, while the downward light is directed towards the ground, continuing the downward line of the helmet's edge. The helmet attach mechanism is designed to match the contour of a helmet's front rim. The system can independently activate the forward and downward lights and may include a single input for control. The housing and circuitry are waterproof, and the diffuser can serve as a gasket.

A pin of the apparatus is slidably receivable in the channel through the open end to assemble the C-shaped clip and the pin together. The pin has a tab or strip that extends through the slot, for attaching the pin to a second location on the vest. A compact action for a firearm including an upper receiver housing incorporating a barrel. A bolt and carrier are positioned within the receiver housing so that the bolt is engaged to a rear receiver end of the barrel in a cartridge chambering position. Guide rods are supported within the housing above the barrel and extend in parallel to a rear located end plate. The carrier includes a carrier key supported by and displaceable along the guide rods between the barrel and a rearward bumper component. A gas tube extends from a forward located gas block overlaying a gas discharge aperture in the barrel to a gas key for actuating the carrier rearwardly following discharge of a ballistic from the barrel. A fixed ejector is attached to the upper receiver, in combination with machining a slot into the carrier and the bolt, such that the ejector remains static such that, upon the bolt cycling, the spent shell casing contacts the ejector, causing it to be ejected out of the upper receiver.

A delayed blowback system for a firearm is provided. The system includes a bolt with two detent members operatively coupled within the bolt, each detent member comprising a detent. The system further includes a recoil spring guide rod having two matching recesses on opposing sides of the recoil spring guide rod, wherein the bolt and the two detent members are coupled to and slidable along the recoil spring guide rod between a firing position and a recoil position. The firing position includes the detents resting in the matching recesses on the recoil spring guide rod in response to a round being fired, the bolt moves back and pushes the detent members back, wherein by nature of a geometry of the detents and the matched recesses, the detent members outward in opposite directions and perpendicular sliding along the recoil spring guide rail in the recoil position to complete a recoil cycle.

The indicia is only visible outside of the frame of the firearm when the firing pin of the firearm is engaged (which causes the portion of the trigger the indicia is positioned on to move outside of the frame of the firearm). As a result, the observability of the indicia on the trigger indicates the firearm has an engaged firing pin and is ready to fire.

A collar at a proximal end of the sleeve has an enlarged opening sized and shaped to receive an open proximal end of the magazine. A plunger has a proximal end selectively receivable in the open distal end of the sleeve, and has an elongated shank slidable in the hollow of the sleeve and an enlarged head. The plunger presses the stack of cartridges through the hollow of the sleeve, out the enlarged opening of the collar and into the magazine.

A firearm holster has a holster body that includes a plurality of walls defining a encasement for the firearm and an opening for inserting the firearm into that encasement. The walls include an interior wall, as well as an exterior wall disposed opposite the interior wall. The holster also includes a first magnetic element disposed on the holster body, and a second magnetic element that is configured to cooperate with the first magnetic element to magnetically attract the first and second magnetic elements to one another. The second magnetic element includes a coupler for coupling the second magnetic element to an article of clothing.

A muzzleloader includes a shot holding member having a first end configured to receive an object to be loaded into the muzzle and a second end; the shot holding member including a hollow shot holding chamber; and an actuator located at the first end of the shot holding member. The actuator includes a plunger having a head portion, a connector configured to connect the actuator to the first end of the shot holding member, a first O-ring configured to encircle the connector and located between the connector and the first end of the shot holding member, and a second O-ring configured to encircle the plunger and located between a head portion of the plunger and the connector.
