A holster assembly includes a holster having an interior shaped to receive a handgun, and an entrance. An ejection port restraint pivotally connected to the holster includes a latch and is biased toward an obstruction position for engaging the latch with the ejection port of the handgun. A release device mounted on the holster body is configured to actuate both the ejection port restraint and the hood restraint, each toward the respective non-obstruction position thereof, in response to a single movement by a user to allow the handgun to be withdrawn from the holster.

The attenuated rail grabber includes a fastening mechanism coupled to the rigid support member and operable to fasten the rigid support member to the weapon. The attenuated rail grabber includes a first spring feature coupled to the rigid support member. The first spring feature includes a fore mounting tab having a fore fastener aperture. The attenuated rail grabber also includes a second spring feature coupled to the rigid support member. The second spring feature includes an aft mounting tab having an aft fastener aperture. The fore fastener aperture is operable to receive a first fastener joined to the first fastener receiver and the aft fastener aperture is operable to receive a second fastener joined to the second fastener receiver.

A bipod assembly includes a first yoke configured to be attached to a firearm. A second yoke is pivotably attached to the first yoke. Right and left legs are pivotably connected to the second yoke and movable between an open position and a closed position. The bipod assembly is movable between a stowed and locked position, a stowed and unlocked position, a deployed and unlocked position, and a deployed and locked position. In a locked position, part of each leg engages the first yoke to maintain the leg's open or closed position as well as the leg's deployed or stowed position. The bipod assembly enables one-hand deployment from a stowed state.

A protective mantel and accessory hub includes a primary yoke configured to be worn underneath an armor carrier. A cover assembly for a weapon handguard can include a cover panel and end connectors configured to mount within an elongated slot, such as an M-LOK® style or other slot. The cover panel can include opposing interior rails that engage corresponding rails on the end connectors. Each end connector includes a capture flange that extends beyond the slot to engage the interior of the handguard, securing the cover panel externally without extending into the slot. Ramps on the cover panel and end connectors can urge the connectors apart along the slot, achieving a fixed spacing and securement. Cable slots can be defined between components to route cables under the cover panel and above the handguard. The assembly can enable a secure, tool-free attachment of a cover panel over a weapon handguard slot, allowing for cable management and protective coverage without permanent modification. A firearm optics mount is configured to position an optic device on a firearm in a position offset from vertical alignment above the barrel when the firearm is in the vertical position. The canted mount includes a base, a support, and an optic mount at the end of the support. The support is configured to offset the optic between 5 and 30 degrees from vertical alignment with the barrel when the firearm is vertically positioned. The support may be configured to offset the optic between 12 and 22 degrees. The base of the mount may include a rear sight. The optic mounted to the firearm via the canted mount may be a primary or only optic of the firearm. The mount may vertically align a bullet drop feature of an optic with the centerline of the barrel when the firearm is canted to position the optic vertically above the barrel.

An insulated handguard rail panel insert with an elongated aperture that extends through the entirety of the component allowing for the passage of any fluid media past a barrel, gas-system, or any other internal thermally conductive parts of a firearm. The rail panel is designed to be placed within an attachment section of a firearm handguard by firmly pressing it down, causing the engagement fins to contact the interior surface of the handguard. Once installed, the insert acts as a thermally insulating barrier between the thermally conductive metal handguard and the user. Disclosed is an accessory mount configured for attachment to a rail interface system, such as the MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. In particular, the accessory mount is a multi-position sliding mount that can be used to attach an accessory, such as a bipod or a tripod, to a handguard equipped with a compatible rail interface system. The accessory mount includes a spring-loaded push-button recoil lug that allows it to be quickly repositioned on a rail interface system. The accessory mount also includes an adjustment knob configured to facilitate attachment and removal without the need to slide the accessory mount on or off the end of the rail interface system. Additionally, the adjustment knob is configured to set sliding tension for the accessory mount and, if desired, to fix the accessory mount in position on the rail interface system.

A clamping mechanism for mounting an accessory, such as a scope, to a firearm barrel includes first and second clamp members with inner planar surfaces configured to engage respective outer surfaces of the barrel so as to distribute clamping forces evenly and minimizing damage to the barrel surface. A dovetail section on one of the clamp members enables attachment of various optics or accessories. The clamp members are secured together using one or more fasteners passing through aligned openings in the clamp members. The clamping mechanism allows non-permanent, stable mounting of accessories without requiring permanent modification to the firearm. The clamping mechanism is particularly configured to be mounted on the barrel of a Henry® brand rifle.

A recess defined by a first slide wall, a second slide wall, and a recess base surface is disposed on the firearm slide top side. The recess includes a rib, a slot, and an ejector projection. The firearm mounting plate assembly includes a mounting plate with a top surface, a bottom surface, a front side, and a rear side. An ejector notch and a channel is disposed along the bottom surface. The mounting plate includes a stud, and one or more bosses. The mounting plate is configured to secure within the recess of the firearm slide.

A scope mount apparatus for attaching an optical scope to a firearm is provided. The scope mount apparatus includes at least one base with at least one fastening element for attaching the base to the firearm. The scope mount apparatus also includes two scope rings operatively connected to the at least one base. An integral sighting system is mounted with respect to the base. The scope mount apparatus is configured such that an unobstructed line of sight extends between the scope rings and the base. The unobstructed line of sight contacts or intersects the sighting system so that a user of the firearm has the option of using either a scope in the scope rings or the integrated sighting system to aim at a target.

A holster for a firearm is disclosed. The holster includes a first layer, a second layer and a third layer sandwiched between the first layer and the second layer. The first layer is made of a first material and defines an outer surface of the holster. The second layer is made of a second material and defines an inner surface of the holster. The third layer is made of a thermoplastic composite material with fibers embedded in a thermoplastic resin. A heating of the holster between a predetermined temperature range softens the third layer to facilitate a molding of the holster.

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a bipod having pivot and cant functionality built into a unified cant/pivot assembly, housing, and pivot block. Rotation of a locking knob under the housing can gradually increase or decrease friction of the cant and pivoting degrees of freedom. Sufficient loosening of the locking knob can allow a pivot block to be lifted from the housing and rotated 180°, and then retightened to lock in a given pivot position. Before this 180 rotation of the pivot block, the pivot block and hence the firearm is free to pivot up to 10°, or up to 20°, or up to 30°.

Certain aspects of a novel weapon sight system combine a direct view, a visible light video view, and an infrared (IR) video view mode. Each of the view modes may be viewed individually or simultaneously with one or more of the other view modes through a single viewing aperture. Further, the one or more view-modes may be provided while providing a bore-sighted reticle superimposed on the selected view. Further, the reticle may be powered separately from the video view electronics enabling use of the reticle regardless of the power status video view electronics.

The receiver plate has one or more apertures with means of latching, clasping, or otherwise grasping by way of a fork, pin, keyhole, or other geometry that may cause an interference fit with an insertion pin, post, or other appendage. The insertion post may be a modified or re-purposed take-down pin that is a modification or improvement of a component already existing on a firearm. A insertion post may also be affixed to an accessory aperture or other device, existing on or mounted on a firearm or on accessories mounted to the firearm.

A firearm attachment for supporting a firearm and mounting accessories to the firearm includes a handguard which is shaped to mount to a barrel of the firearm and a monopod which is removably coupled to the handguard. The monopod is removable from the handguard and may have a tool attached to it so that the monopod may be used as a handle for the tool. A flashlight and a laser emitter may be removably attached to the handguard to illuminate an area in front of the firearm and facilitate aiming the firearm. The flashlight and the laser emitter may also be removable to be usable independently of the handguard and the firearm.

A weapon mount is provided to connect an accessory to a weapon adjacent a sight. The mount can include a main body, a forward projecting first arm and a locking plate. The main body can engage a rear of the sight, for example, a front sight post, and the locking plate can engage a front of the sight. The locking plate, main body and mount can be centered on the post via a centering fastener projecting through a center plate hole of the locking plate, and can be clamped to the sight post via first and second fasteners projecting through the locking plate and engaged with the first arm and a second arm which can be part of the main body or a modular body. The modular body can be slidably joined with the main body via a guide rail and corresponding slot. A related method is provided.
