A box magazine fed firearm includes pinch tabs in the receiver of the firearm. In one embodiment, the pinch tabs are opposing pieces of spring steel extending upwardly and inwardly from opposing lateral sides of the receiver. In one embodiment, the pinch tabs are sections of flat spring steel bent into an arcuate shape and secured to the receiver by screws. In one embodiment, tension screws are used to adjust an inward bias of each of the pinch tabs.

A trigger mechanism having a hammer, a trigger member, movable ejector lever, and locking member. The trigger member being forced to the set position by the hammer during rearward pivoting. A locking member is adapted to move between a first position at which the locking member mechanically blocks the trigger member from moving to the released position and a second position at which the locking member does not mechanically block the trigger member allowing the trigger member to be moved to the released position. The locking member is spring biased toward the first position and moved against the spring bias to the second position by contact from the movable ejector lever during forward movement of the bolt carrier as the bolt carrier reaches a substantially in-battery position.

An assembly for quickly attaching and detaching the guide bar to and from the rotor housing of a minigun is provided. The assembly comprises a guide bar and a rotor housing. The guide bar includes a front end having a pinhole extending through the front end and a rear end having a locking cam. The rotor housing includes a recessed channel configured to receive the locking cam and a spring-loaded lock pin assembly configured to secure the front end of the guide bar. The guide bar is secured to the rotor housing when the locking cam is inserted into the recessed channel and the spring-loaded lock pin assembly secures the front end of the guide bar. The assembly allows the guide bar to quickly be attached and detached from the rotor housing without the need for tools. The rotor housing may be designed without a yoke to reduce weight.

The present invention is a modular firearm lower receiver assembly for rapid conversion of conventionally configured modular firearms to a bullpup configuration and the method of assembly thereof. The preferred embodiment of the present invention is intended for designed use with modular firearms in the family AR-15 Type Firearms and enables a rapid conversion of a wide array of conventionally configured AR-15 Type Firearm to and a bullpup configuration. Such rapid conversion, which can generally be performed in a matter of seconds without any tools, is accomplished by decoupling and detaching the two captured receiver pins on the lower receiver of the conventionally configured AR-15 Type Firearm, removing the upper receiver assembly therefrom, and recoupling such upper receiver assembly to the present invention using two identically located receiver pins on the present invention. The present invention is universally applicable to AR-15 Type firearms of several different calibers and having an array of differences with respect to the lower receiver, upper receiver, handguard, bolt carrier group, or gas systems employed therein.

An insulated handguard rail panel insert with an elongated aperture that extends through the entirety of the component allowing for the passage of any fluid media past a barrel, gas-system, or any other internal thermally conductive parts of a firearm. The rail panel is designed to be placed within an attachment section of a firearm handguard by firmly pressing it down, causing the engagement fins to contact the interior surface of the handguard. Once installed, the insert acts as a thermally insulating barrier between the thermally conductive metal handguard and the user. Disclosed is an accessory mount configured for attachment to a rail interface system, such as the MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. In particular, the accessory mount is a multi-position sliding mount that can be used to attach an accessory, such as a bipod or a tripod, to a handguard equipped with a compatible rail interface system. The accessory mount includes a spring-loaded push-button recoil lug that allows it to be quickly repositioned on a rail interface system. The accessory mount also includes an adjustment knob configured to facilitate attachment and removal without the need to slide the accessory mount on or off the end of the rail interface system. A firearm rest configured to attach to a mounting surface, such as the generally horizontal window sill of a hunting blind. The firearm rest includes a support member, support posts, and an attachment assembly. The support member provides a generally horizontal surface for a hunter to rest the forearm of a firearm. The support posts are configured to selectively adjust the height of the support member relative to the attachment assembly. The support posts are pivotably combined with the attachment assembly thereby allowing the support member to be movable between an extended position and a retracted position while the attachment assembly remains secured to the mounting surface. The retracted position is sometimes desirable to allow the hunter better access to the window or the window sill.

A gun forearm support apparatus includes a base, an adjustable upright, and a saddle. The upright comprises two opposing ends, wherein the first end is coupled to the base via an articulating hinge (or hinges), wherein the second end supports the saddle. Upon deployment, the forearm support vertically supports a gun forearm within the saddle as supported by the upright depending from the base.
