US12510337 - Actively-cooled heat shield system and vehicle including the same

An actively-cooled heat shield system includes a heat shield, a tank, a pump, a heat exchanger, and a turbine. The heat shield defines a windward side of a vehicle. The tank stores a coolant. The pump receives the coolant from the tank and outputs a pressurized coolant. The heat exchanger is integrally connected with the heat shield. The heat exchanger receives the pressurized coolant from the pump, transfers heat from the heat shield to the pressurized coolant to generate a heated fluid, and outputs the heated fluid. The turbine includes an inlet, a shaft, and an outlet. The inlet receives the heated fluid output from the heat exchanger. The shaft is coupled to the pump and includes turbine blades. The shaft rotates and powers the pump when the heated fluid received from the heat exchanger acts on the turbine blades. The outlet outputs the heated fluid.

US12510338 - Bullet feeder

The object of the invention is a bullet feeder for use in ammunition reloading devices. The bullet feeder of the invention comprises a static support ( 1 ), a rotary ring ( 2 ) provided with pockets ( 3 ) for receiving bullets ( 4 ), a container ( 5 ) for bullets ( 4 ), a sorting bridge ( 6 ), a guide ( 7 ) for conveying the correctly oriented bullets ( 4 ) to a die ( 40 ) for inserting bullets ( 4 ) into a cartridge case and a drive ( 8 ) of the rotary ring ( 2 ). The feeder of the invention, with its appropriately shaped pockets ( 3 ) and sorting bridge ( 6 ), exploits the shape of the bullet ( 4 ) to position it correctly in the position of insertion. Due to the specific shape and positioning of the sorting bridge ( 6 ), the bullet feeder of the invention can be easily adapted to different calibres and different shapes of bullets.

US12510339 - Grenade pouch adapter

A grenade pouch adapter for receiving a grenade is provided. The grenade pouch adapter includes a curved body having a planar surface, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The inner surface extends perpendicularly from a first edge of the planar surface and defines an inner contour of the curved body. The outer surface extends perpendicularly from a second edge of the planar surface. A spoon slot is located at a first end of the curved body. The spoon of the grenade is received into the spoon slot through a spoon aperture formed on the planar surface of the curved body. The spoon slot is configured to hold the spoon of the grenade in a single orientation such that a safety pin ring of the grenade is positioned facing towards wearer's body.

US12510340 - Inertial igniters for low-g and long-duration firing acceleration munitions and the like

An inertial mechanism including a member rotatable about an axis between activatable and activated positions, in the activatable position a first center of mass of the member is offset from the axis in a direction perpendicular to a direction of acceleration, the member having a surface; and another member rotatable about an axis between rest and activated positions, the rest position being where the second member cannot be moved into its activated position from an acceleration event, the other member also having a surface, the surfaces engage with each other when the member moves to its activated position to move the other member from its rest position to its activatable position, which is also where a center of mass of the other member is offset from its axis in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the acceleration.
