Claim 1
1 . A guide bar for attaching and detaching to a rotor housing of a minigun having barrels at a front end, a lock pin proximate to the front end of the rotor housing, and a recessed channel distal to the front end of the rotor housing, the guide bar comprising: a guide bar body extending along a longitudinal axis from a guide bar front end to a guide bar rear end, with a cartridge guiding portion therebetween; the guide bar rear end including a transversely extending shaft having a locking cam at one end thereof, the locking cam configured to be received in the recessed channel; and the guide bar front end including a pinhole configured to receive the lock pin; wherein the guide bar is secured to the rotor housing when the locking cam is received in the recessed channel and the lock pin is received in the pinhole. a guide bar body extending along a longitudinal axis from a guide bar front end to a guide bar rear end, with a cartridge guiding portion therebetween; the guide bar rear end including a transversely extending shaft having a locking cam at one end thereof, the locking cam configured to be received in the recessed channel; and the guide bar front end including a pinhole configured to receive the lock pin; wherein the guide bar is secured to the rotor housing when the locking cam is received in the recessed channel and the lock pin is received in the pinhole.
