US12774866 - Trigger group for striker fired-style pistols
A trigger group apparatus directed toward use in striker-fired style pistols. The apparatus includes a trigger housing, a trigger bar, a striker with a firing pin which includes a leg at the rear of the striker, a cruciform sear with polyhedron appendage affixed to the sear, a safety plunger which interacts with the striker guiding the striker movement, a connector mounted on the trigger group and a binary disconnector interacting with the sear slidably mounted on a disconnect bar. The sear interacts with the connector and binary disconnector to facilitate release of and then capture of the striker with each movement of the trigger bar to assure limiting the pistol to semiautomatic operation while providing for firing one pistol round for the pull of the pistol trigger and one round when the pistol trigger is released.
