A conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”) may distribute deployments from the CEW across a same activation event and across different activation events. The system may distribute deployments based on a deployment list. The deployment list may define a sequential deployment order for a deployment connections of the CEW. The system may determine a next deployment connection and activate the next deployment connection based on the deployment list. The system may update the deployment list responsive to activations of deployment connections such that the deployment list is sequentially maintained between activation events.

A conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”) may comprise a handle and a deployment unit. A CEW may be adapted for use in a simulation system comprising a simulator and a display. A simulation deployment unit may be used with a handle to adapt the CEW for use in the simulation system. The simulation deployment unit may be configured to detect motion data corresponding with at least one of a change in position, a change in orientation, and an initial orientation of the CEW. The simulation deployment unit may be configured to pass the motion data to the handle so the motion data may be transmitted to a simulator via a communication circuit of the handle. The simulation deployment unit may require power from the handle to operate, and the handle may require motion data provided by the simulation deployment unit so that the CEW may be used in the simulation system.

An adjustable finger support for an archery release includes a handle portion having a longitudinal axis, top and bottom portions and interior and exterior side surfaces. A finger bed is pivotally connected with the handle portion for movement about a pivot axis at the top of the finger bed parallel to the longitudinal axis. Preferably, the finger bed is arranged in a recess in the handle portion exterior side surface for pivotal movement therein relative to the handle portion. The bottom portion of the finger bed is spaced from the handle portion at an angle desired by the archer and locked into place. Angular adjustment provides an optimal fit for the archer and better positions a head portion of the archery release toward a target.

The invention is a covering device that acts as both a visual camouflage and as a thermal blocker to cover people and equipment (e.g., vehicles). Specifically, the covering device effectively reduces and/or prevents thermal, infrared, and visual detection of any subject (e.g., person or equipment) positioned under the device. The covering device includes a unique arrangement of apertures that has been surprisingly shown to reduce and diffuse both the heat and visual signature of the subject.

A suppression kit of a countermeasure system and methods of use thereof. The suppression kit includes a breaching expendable that is adapted to be stored inside of a magazine of the countermeasure system. The suppression kit also includes a cover that operably engages with the breaching expendable. The cover is configured to one of suppress electromagnetic signals from penetrating into a dispenser of the countermeasure system, prevent optical or visual view of contents within the countermeasure system, and suppress environmental impacts from entering into the countermeasure system. The breaching expendable is configured to eject the cover from the dispenser prior to ejection of at least one countermeasure expendable of a set of countermeasure expendables.

A crossbow having a crossbow frame and a bow assembly. The bow riser of the bow assembly having a launch deck surface and a bore below the launch deck surface. The crossbow frame having a launch deck surface and a coupling rod below the launch deck surface. The coupling rod is sized to cooperate with the bore, and the coupling rod is axial to and concentric with the bore. The bow riser is axially coupled to the crossbow frame by the coupling rod, the bow assembly has a first position for shooting a projectile and a second position for storage or transportation. Any suitable device may be used to lock the angular orientation between the bow assembly and the crossbow frame, such as pins, plungers, springs, detents and the like in the first and second positions.

The presently disclosed subject matter includes an active protection system and a method, dedicated for detecting, locating, and incapacitating beam-riding missiles and in that way protecting an asset from being targeted by the missile. According to some examples following receipt of a threat-indication, the active protection system estimates a location of a beam used for directing a threat (e.g., ATGM) to the target and launches an aerial platform that flies in the opposite direction along the beam until it meets and incapacitates the incoming threat.

A method for reducing a detect-to-respond timeline. The method includes evaluating a threat status of at least one object, prioritizing, based on the threat status, each object, optimizing at least one potential response to each object, recommending at least one optimized response, and executing a response selected from the optimized responses.

A conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”) may be subject to one or more environmental factors during operation. The environmental factors may impact normal functionality of the CEW. The CEW may detect an electrical property associated with a component of the CEW. The CEW may retrieve a lockout parameter associated with the component. The CEW may compare the electrical property to the lockout parameter. The CEW may determine a lockout condition based on the comparing. The CEW may perform the lockout condition on the CEW.

Methods of creating geometry for a fragmentation device are presented. The geometry may be generated using computer-aided design tools. An inner body with a curved surface may be generated. An intersection line may be generated on the curved surface by tracing a helical path. A fragment comprising a fragment surface tangent to the curved surface may be generated and aligned with the intersection line. A pattern of fragments may then be generated based on the fragment, the intersection line, and the curved surface. The geometry of the fragmentation device may be stored for manufacture of the fragmentation device by additive manufacturing.
