An apparatus has a ring adapter coupled to a magnification adjustment ring of a scope and a slider assembly carried on a portion of a firearm spaced from the adapter. The slider assembly has a slider configured for longitudinal translation relative to the firearm and has at least one front pulley located forward of the slider, and a pair of rear pulleys are located below the ring adapter. A cable couples the slider to the ring adapter, the cable extending from one portion of the ring adapter and around one of the rear pulleys, the cable then extending forward and around the front pulley and then rearward and around the other of the rear pulleys to another portion of the ring adapter. The slider is coupled to the cable, so that translation of the slider causes motion of the cable about the pulleys and corresponding rotation of the ring adapter.

Firearms and accessories are disclosed herein. The firearm can carry a scope mounting assembly configured to couple to a firearm and includes serrated interfaces configured to engage a complementary serrated interface of a component such that the component is rotationally and translationally fixed to the scope mounting assembly. The interlocked serrated interface maintains positional relationships between the component and another component, such as a scope, and/or the firearm.

A system for assisting one's vision while aiming a firearm, includes a scope (but may also not include a scope) that is operable to capture light from an object downfield, and an optical collar that is operable to divert some or all of the light captured, and generate an image of the object. The scope has a first end and a second end. The first end captures light from the object located downfield from the first end, and looking through the second end, one receives the light captured by the first end, and generates an image of the object from the captured light. The optical collar includes a camera operable to generate an image from light that the camera receives, a beam-splitter optically aligned with the second end of the scope and operable to reflect a portion of the light captured by the scope's first end toward the camera, and a display operable to show the image generated by the camera from the light that the camera receives.

A wearable electronic device displays an impact location that shows where a projectile fired from a weapon will hit a target and displays a bullseye location that shows a desired location where to hit the target. The wearable electronic device indicates firing the weapon when the impact location overlaps with the bullseye location.

A scope mount apparatus for attaching an optical scope to a firearm is provided. The scope mount apparatus includes at least one base with at least one fastening element for attaching the base to the firearm. The scope mount apparatus also includes two scope rings operatively connected to the at least one base. An integral sighting system is mounted with respect to the base. The scope mount apparatus is configured such that an unobstructed line of sight extends between the scope rings and the base. The unobstructed line of sight contacts or intersects the sighting system so that a user of the firearm has the option of using either a scope in the scope rings or the integrated sighting system to aim at a target.

Certain aspects of a novel weapon sight system combine a direct view, a visible light video view, and an infrared (IR) video view mode. Each of the view modes may be viewed individually or simultaneously with one or more of the other view modes through a single viewing aperture. Further, the one or more view-modes may be provided while providing a bore-sighted reticle superimposed on the selected view. Further, the reticle may be powered separately from the video view electronics enabling use of the reticle regardless of the power status video view electronics.

A method of manufacturing a rifle scope mount has the steps of forming a first mount portion defining a first portion of a cylindrical scope tube passage, forming a second mount portion defining a second portion of the cylindrical scope tube passage, after forming the first and second mount portions, connecting the first and second mount portions together, connecting the first and second mount portions to a fixture, and after connecting the first and second mount portions to a fixture, machining the first and second mount portions to define a cylindrical bore at the cylindrical scope tube passage. The step of connecting the first and second mount portions together may include positioning a shim between the first and second mount portions. The step of connecting the first and second mount portions to a fixture may include clamping the first mount portion to a fixture rail.

A point blank delta scope reticle, wherein all range and yardage solutions (horizontal x) may be removed and/or ignored and only the vertical Y component is utlized. A vital zone of a target is viewed as a Y value and a ballistic curve can be calculated that will pass thru the determined Y value. The Y value becomes a constant in all calculations. The constant then yields one or more unique ratios that all ammunition follows since the vertical Y component is the constant. The aiming reticle includes a reticle and one or more subsequent or successive reference marks formed in an aligned fashion between the reticle and a last reference mark, wherein a relative distance between each adjacent pair of the subsequent or successive reference marks decreases as the subsequent or successive reference marks are formed from the reticle to the last of the subsequent or successive reference marks.

A mount for attaching an optical scope to a weapon includes a base and front and rear lower clamping members extending from the base. The rear lower clamping member is axially spaced apart from the front lower clamping member. A front upper clamping member is attached to the front lower clamping member to define a front scope ring having a front cylindrical bore. A rear upper clamping member is attached to the rear lower clamping member to define a rear scope ring having a rear cylindrical bore, and wherein the front and rear cylindrical bores are co-aligned with a first axis. An accessory mount configured to receive a weapon accessory extends from the front upper clamping member and has an elongate portion extending along a second axis. The first axis and second axis are parallel and the second axis is laterally offset with respect to the first axis.
