Systems and apparatuses include a compact quiver assembly for a crossbow defining an envelope. The compact quiver assembly including a hood defining an interior cavity, a grabber received within the cover and structured to hold one or more arrows, and a cover moveable relative to the hood between an open position providing access to the grabber, and a closed position inhibiting access to the grabber. The compact quiver assembly is positioned substantially within the envelope of the crossbow.
