US12510340 - Inertial igniters for low-g and long-duration firing acceleration munitions and the like

An inertial mechanism including a member rotatable about an axis between activatable and activated positions, in the activatable position a first center of mass of the member is offset from the axis in a direction perpendicular to a direction of acceleration, the member having a surface; and another member rotatable about an axis between rest and activated positions, the rest position being where the second member cannot be moved into its activated position from an acceleration event, the other member also having a surface, the surfaces engage with each other when the member moves to its activated position to move the other member from its rest position to its activatable position, which is also where a center of mass of the other member is offset from its axis in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the acceleration.

US12429317 - Nonfragmentation munition

A radially firing munition defining a longitudinal axis and comprising a nonfragmenatary hollow collar having an inner surface and an outer surface opposed thereto with a first plurality of ports extending therebetween in a substantially radial direction. An ammunition is disposed in each port of the first plurality of ports and oriented outwardly from the longitudinal axis. An ignition source is provided for expelling each ammunition from the collar in response to an ignition signal.

US12366436 - Nonfragmentation multiple vector munition

An elongate munition with a longitudinal axis and having a nonfragmenation hollow collar. The hollow collar has an inner surface and an opposed outer surface with a first plurality of ports extending through the collar in a substantially radial direction. The ports are spaced from adjacent ports in both circumferential and longitudinal directions. A first plurality of ammunitions is disposed in each port of the first plurality of ports and oriented outwardly from the longitudinal axis. An ignition source for expelling each ammunition outwardly from the collar responsive to an ignition signal is also provided.

US12352544 - Nonfragmentation missile and method of delivering a payload therewith

A missile for delivering a payload and having a longitudinal axis. The missile comprises a nonfragmenation multi-directional munition having a hollow collar. The hollow collar has an inner surface and an outer surface opposed thereto and a first plurality of ports extending therebetween in a substantially radial direction. An ammunition is disposed in each port of the first plurality of ports, oriented outwardly from the longitudinal axis with an ignition source for expelling such ammunition from the collar. The missile also has at least one flight control surface for controlling a trajectory of the missile during flight and a controller for controlling the flight of the missile and the ignition source.

US12332032 - Barrier-breaching munition

Flown munition that is rocket-propelled for hitting a target behind a barrier, and which comprises a rocket motor; and a successive payload that is mounted behind the rocket motor in a tandem configuration and is towed by it; and wherein the rocket motor is used for accelerating the munition towards the barrier and also serves as a sort of kinetic penetrator to clear a passage through the barrier for the successive pay load, which is connected to it and towed by it, and the successive payload (e.g.—a high-explosive charge) is adapted for delayed detonation following and just after said rocket motor hits the barrier.

US12332033 - Munition with directional projection explosive

A munition has an explosive charge with direction explosive characteristics, such as a nonuniform detonation velocities. The explosive charge may have multiple portions of explosives with nonuniform characteristics, and/or may have portions with graded nonuniform characteristics. The explosive charge may be used to propel a material from the munition in a desired manner. For example the material may be fragments that are part of a fragmentation munition. Alternatively the material may be a layer of a material, such as a metal, that produces an explosively formed penetrator or shaped charge. The explosive charge may be configured to control the spread and/or direction of the material to be propelled from the munition.

US12320624 - Sacrificial device for sub-caliber munition

A device is provided for inhibiting pitch and yaw within a barrel bore of a gun-launched projectile having a nose and a boattail. The device includes an endcap, a cruciform and a plug. The endcap attaches to the boattail. The endcap includes a center cavity. The cruciform includes a central ring that engages around the endcap. The cruciform further includes a plurality of radial spokes. Each spoke extends from the ring and ends in a flange that engages the bore. The plug inserts into the ring and the cavity. After the projectile launches from the bore, the plug sheers away from the endcap, thereby causing the cruciform to separate from the endcap. Preferably, the endcap, cruciform and plug are composed of aluminum alloy.

US12313369 - Modularized platform for munition canister

A mounting platform is provided for securing munitions. The platform includes a flat plate, a front block and a rear block. The plate includes a plurality of cutout holes. The front block has a first saddle disposed between first flanking ends and at least one extension at one of the flanking ends for inserting into a first opening of the cutouts. The rear block has a second saddle disposed between second flanking ends at least one extension for inserting into a second opening of the cutouts. The munitions are disposable atop the first and second saddles of the front and rear blocks. The munitions are restrained axially against a rear stop block and laterally by the saddles and straps.
