Disclosed is a firearm gas system including a gas block having a body with gas passageway for alignment with a barrel gas port. A gas tube has a gas inlet in a forward portion thereof and is axially variably positionable in at least partial alignment and disalignment relative to the gas passageway to thereby adjust gas flow.

An integrally suppressed barrel system for a firearm, the system comprises a barrel having a series of transverse holes and a spiral groove forming machine-type threads of some dimension or specification, a gas block assembly configured to provide integration with the gas cycling system inherent to a firearm, a gas tube configured to protrude back into an upper receiver of the firearm, and a suppressor having a main housing. The main housing of the suppressor includes an inner wall, an outer wall, a series of holes and a base attached to the barrel through machine threads. The suppressor is fixed in a concentric pattern about the bore of the barrel.

A firearm operating system is designed for a firearm with a barrel and a bolt carrier group. The firearm operating system includes a gas block secured to the barrel, the gas block comprising an upper hole, a gas plug disposed in the upper hole, a tension nut disposed on a forward side of the gas block, and a removably attached gas directing assembly. The gas plug includes multiple adjustment configurations. The removably attached gas directing assembly interfaces with the bolt carrier group.
