A trigger block for shrouding a trigger in a trigger guard, the trigger block comprising: a first frame member having a first engagement assembly; a second frame member having a second engagement assembly adapted to removably mate to the first engagement assembly, the first frame member and the second frame member shrouding the trigger and being located substantially within the trigger guard when mated; a first locking member adapted to restrict movement of the first engagement assembly; and a second locking member adapted to restrict movement of the second engagement assembly. a first frame member having a first engagement assembly; a second frame member having a second engagement assembly adapted to removably mate to the first engagement assembly, the first frame member and the second frame member shrouding the trigger and being located substantially within the trigger guard when mated; a first locking member adapted to restrict movement of the first engagement assembly; and a second locking member adapted to restrict movement of the second engagement assembly.
