US12710259 - Flash directed reactive target and method of manufacture

The patent describes a concealed reactive target that combines neutralizer materials with energetic materials to prevent their malicious use, featuring a design that allows for manipulation of flash direction and intensity upon detonation. The device includes a container with recesses filled with energetic material and adjacent neutralizer material, maintaining an indiscernible boundary to avoid detection.
Claim 1
1 . A reactive target comprising: a container, having an interior surface; a plurality of recesses in the interior surface; an energetic material, in dry form, in the plurality of recesses; a neutralizer material, in dry form, adjacent the energetic material; an indiscernible boundary interface between the energetic material and the neutralizer material; and wherein the indiscernible boundary interface is visually indiscernible with unassisted vision; wherein each recess, of the plurality of recesses, forms a generally elliptical surface, having a width to height ratio of between about 1:1 and about 3:1. a container, having an interior surface; a plurality of recesses in the interior surface; an energetic material, in dry form, in the plurality of recesses; a neutralizer material, in dry form, adjacent the energetic material; an indiscernible boundary interface between the energetic material and the neutralizer material; and wherein the indiscernible boundary interface is visually indiscernible with unassisted vision; wherein each recess, of the plurality of recesses, forms a generally elliptical surface, having a width to height ratio of between about 1:1 and about 3:1.
