US12571603 - Silencer for multi barrel weapon systems

The patent describes a suppressor designed for multi-barrel weapon systems, featuring an adapter baffle and multiple extension baffles that facilitate the alignment of projectile apertures with the muzzles of the barrels. The internal design includes structures to circulate and slow down propellant gases, enhancing the suppressor’s effectiveness in reducing noise and muzzle blast.
Claim 1
1 . A suppressor for a weapon system having a plurality of barrels, the suppressor comprising: an aft end configured to receive a muzzle of each barrel of the plurality of barrels; a forward end defining a plurality of projectile apertures configured to align with the plurality of barrels when the muzzle of each barrel is received in the aft end; a sidewall defining an interior chamber extending from the aft end to the forward end; and a plurality of structures in the interior chamber configured to slow or circulate propellant gases emitted from the muzzle of each barrel within the interior chamber, each structure defining a plurality of projectile apertures therethrough; wherein each projectile aperture is in fluid communication with each other projectile aperture. an aft end configured to receive a muzzle of each barrel of the plurality of barrels; a forward end defining a plurality of projectile apertures configured to align with the plurality of barrels when the muzzle of each barrel is received in the aft end; a sidewall defining an interior chamber extending from the aft end to the forward end; and a plurality of structures in the interior chamber configured to slow or circulate propellant gases emitted from the muzzle of each barrel within the interior chamber, each structure defining a plurality of projectile apertures therethrough; wherein each projectile aperture is in fluid communication with each other projectile aperture.
