Claim 1

A system comprising: a coupler used for coupling at least one leg to a firearm; wherein said at least one leg comprises an upstream end and a downstream end separated by flexible joint; wherein said at least one leg rotates about a hinge point which is located on a member, wherein said member is coupled to said upstream end, and wherein said hinge point comprises a bolt; wherein said legs are maintained in a desired orientation by a button; wherein said button is generally cylindrical and has a length, and wherein said button and has a reduced diameter portion and an enlarged diameter portion offset against the length of said button, and wherein said reduced diameter portion can pass through said channel; and wherein said button is in communication with a channel located on said member, and wherein said button moves through said channel; wherein said flexible joint comprises a coil, and wherein said coil allows each leg to flex and pivot at the coil. a coupler used for coupling at least one leg to a firearm; wherein said at least one leg comprises an upstream end and a downstream end separated by flexible joint; wherein said at least one leg rotates about a hinge point which is located on a member, wherein said member is coupled to said upstream end, and wherein said hinge point comprises a bolt; wherein said legs are maintained in a desired orientation by a button; wherein said button is generally cylindrical and has a length, and wherein said button and has a reduced diameter portion and an enlarged diameter portion offset against the length of said button, and wherein said reduced diameter portion can pass through said channel; and wherein said button is in communication with a channel located on said member, and wherein said button moves through said channel; wherein said flexible joint comprises a coil, and wherein said coil allows each leg to flex and pivot at the coil.
