US12553679 - Safety control system for portable weapons, including crossbow and firearms, such as handguns, rifles and alike

The invention describes a safety control system for portable weapons that utilizes sensors to ensure safe operation by unlocking the firing sequence only under appropriate conditions. It includes a microcontroller and a nine-axis motion sensor to assess the weapon’s direction relative to a target, determining whether it is safe to fire.
Claim 1
1 . A safety control system for a portable weapon, comprising: a. a microcontroller for controlling a driver to drive an actuator for actuating a lock mechanism; and b. a direction detection sensor for detecting a direction of said portable weapon to cause said microcontroller to control said driver; wherein said microcontroller is preprogramed with direction data of a target and preset values, and determines whether said direction of said portable weapon and said direction data of said target are within said preset values to cause said microcontroller to control said driver that drives said actuator to lock or unlock a firing sequence by said lock mechanism; and wherein said direction detection sensor comprises a nine-axis motion sensor. a. a microcontroller for controlling a driver to drive an actuator for actuating a lock mechanism; and b. a direction detection sensor for detecting a direction of said portable weapon to cause said microcontroller to control said driver; wherein said microcontroller is preprogramed with direction data of a target and preset values, and determines whether said direction of said portable weapon and said direction data of said target are within said preset values to cause said microcontroller to control said driver that drives said actuator to lock or unlock a firing sequence by said lock mechanism; and wherein said direction detection sensor comprises a nine-axis motion sensor.
