Claim 1
1 . A target sighting system for use with a firearm, comprising in combination: a target sighting attachment for the firearm having a camera, a plurality of front facing Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) adjacent the camera, and an image sender for sending a live target image from the camera to another location, an attachment mechanism for attaching the target sighting attachment to the firearm, wherein the attachment mechanism includes: a horizontal camera adjustor for adjusting horizontal position of the camera; and a vertical camera adjustor for adjusting vertical position of the camera; a magnetometer sensor in the attachment to detect a close range magnetic field; an external magnet magnetically attached adjacent the target sighting attachment; and a portable digital display device adjacent to the firearm with the target sighting attachment for displaying the target image on a display, wherein the firearm with the target sighting attachment is adapted to be held by one hand of a user while the portable digital display device is adapted to be held by another hand of the user, wherein separating the external magnet from being adjacent the target sighting mechanism activates the target sighting attachment from a sleep mode to an active mode where the target image is displayed on the display and recorded. a target sighting attachment for the firearm having a camera, a plurality of front facing Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) adjacent the camera, and an image sender for sending a live target image from the camera to another location, an attachment mechanism for attaching the target sighting attachment to the firearm, wherein the attachment mechanism includes: a horizontal camera adjustor for adjusting horizontal position of the camera; and a vertical camera adjustor for adjusting vertical position of the camera; a magnetometer sensor in the attachment to detect a close range magnetic field; an external magnet magnetically attached adjacent the target sighting attachment; and a portable digital display device adjacent to the firearm with the target sighting attachment for displaying the target image on a display, wherein the firearm with the target sighting attachment is adapted to be held by one hand of a user while the portable digital display device is adapted to be held by another hand of the user, wherein separating the external magnet from being adjacent the target sighting mechanism activates the target sighting attachment from a sleep mode to an active mode where the target image is displayed on the display and recorded.
