US12488513 - Weapon targeting system

A wearable electronic device displays an impact location that shows where a projectile fired from a weapon will hit a target and displays a bullseye location that shows a desired location where to hit the target. The wearable electronic device indicates firing the weapon when the impact location overlaps with the bullseye location.

The patent describes a wearable electronic scope for rifles that calculates and displays the impact location of a projectile based on environmental factors like temperature and altitude. It features wireless communication to receive target data and provides a visual reticle indicating where the bullet will hit, enhancing targeting accuracy.

Claim 1

1 . An electronic scope that attaches to a rifle held by a user, the electronic scope comprising: one or more sensors that determine an outdoor temperature and an altitude where the electronic scope is located; wireless communication that wirelessly receives, from a second electronic scope, a location of an object as a target; a laser rangefinder that determines a distance to the object; a processor that determines, based on the distance to the object, the outdoor temperature, and the altitude, an impact location where a bullet fired from the rifle will hit; and a display that shows the object seen through the display and displays a virtual reticle at the impact location where the bullet fired from the rifle will hit based on the distance to the object, the outdoor temperature, and the altitude determined by the electronic scope. one or more sensors that determine an outdoor temperature and an altitude where the electronic scope is located; wireless communication that wirelessly receives, from a second electronic scope, a location of an object as a target; a laser rangefinder that determines a distance to the object; a processor that determines, based on the distance to the object, the outdoor temperature, and the altitude, an impact location where a bullet fired from the rifle will hit; and a display that shows the object seen through the display and displays a virtual reticle at the impact location where the bullet fired from the rifle will hit based on the distance to the object, the outdoor temperature, and the altitude determined by the electronic scope.
