- A firearm mounting system, comprising: a base assembly, the base assembly further comprising: a base body; and a tension control sub-system; a bracket coupled to a top surface of the base body; a swing arm pivotably coupled to the bracket, wherein the swing arm further comprises a vertical support leg and a horizontal support leg configured to pivot about an axis; a support plate coupled to the horizontal support leg of the swing arm, wherein the support plate is configured to provide elevational control of the firearm mounting system; and at least one support coupling configured to couple the support plate to at least a portion of a firearm. a base assembly, the base assembly further comprising: a base body; and a tension control sub-system; a base body; and a tension control sub-system; a bracket coupled to a top surface of the base body; a swing arm pivotably coupled to the bracket, wherein the swing arm further comprises a vertical support leg and a horizontal support leg configured to pivot about an axis; a support plate coupled to the horizontal support leg of the swing arm, wherein the support plate is configured to provide elevational control of the firearm mounting system; and at least one support coupling configured to couple the support plate to at least a portion of a firearm.
