US12448889 - Raise caving method for mining deposits, and a mining infrastructure, monitoring system, machinery, control system and data medium therefor

miningmethodinfrastructure
This patent describes an integrated raise caving mining method that involves developing raises and drawbells in rock mass to facilitate the extraction of fragmented rock. It also encompasses a mining infrastructure, machinery, control systems, and data mediums associated with this mining method.
Claim 1
- An integrated raise caving mining method for mining deposits in rock mass comprising: developing at least one raise in the rock mass, developing a drawbell in the rock mass, wherein at least a portion of the drawbell is excavated from the at least one raise, initiating caving through undercutting, wherein at least a part of an undercut is created by gradually expanding the drawbell in upwards direction by excavation, developing at least two drawpoints into the drawbell, wherein the drawpoints are arranged on different levels, and progressively drawing fragmented rock from the at least one drawbell through the drawpoints. developing at least one raise in the rock mass, developing a drawbell in the rock mass, wherein at least a portion of the drawbell is excavated from the at least one raise, initiating caving through undercutting, wherein at least a part of an undercut is created by gradually expanding the drawbell in upwards direction by excavation, developing at least two drawpoints into the drawbell, wherein the drawpoints are arranged on different levels, and progressively drawing fragmented rock from the at least one drawbell through the drawpoints.
