A compensator for a firearm, the compensator comprising: a body having a central cavity defined by a proximal wall and a distal wall, the proximal wall including a first bore and the distal wall including a second bore, the first and second bores defining a common axis and sized to allow the passage of a projectile fired from the firearm, the body constructed and arranged to attach to the muzzle of the firearm; a removable partition including a third bore, the removable partition positioned in the central cavity, the central cavity constructed and arranged to accept the removable partition via a cavity opening that is transverse to the common axis, and a fastener securing the removable partition to the body. a body having a central cavity defined by a proximal wall and a distal wall, the proximal wall including a first bore and the distal wall including a second bore, the first and second bores defining a common axis and sized to allow the passage of a projectile fired from the firearm, the body constructed and arranged to attach to the muzzle of the firearm; a removable partition including a third bore, the removable partition positioned in the central cavity, the central cavity constructed and arranged to accept the removable partition via a cavity opening that is transverse to the common axis, and a fastener securing the removable partition to the body.
