A sight adaptor plate assembly, comprising: an adaptor plate comprising: a stud extending in a first direction from the adaptor plate, a first anchor extending in a second direction from the adaptor plate, wherein the first direction is opposite the second direction, and the first direction and the second direction are parallel with the longitudinal axis of the adapter plate, and one or more recesses in a top surface of the adaptor plate; and a sight comprising a second anchor, wherein the one or more recesses are configured to receive the second anchor, wherein the one or more recesses comprise a first recess disposed on a front side of the adapter plate and a second recess disposed on a rear side of the adapter plate. an adaptor plate comprising: a stud extending in a first direction from the adaptor plate, a first anchor extending in a second direction from the adaptor plate, wherein the first direction is opposite the second direction, and the first direction and the second direction are parallel with the longitudinal axis of the adapter plate, and one or more recesses in a top surface of the adaptor plate; and a stud extending in a first direction from the adaptor plate, a first anchor extending in a second direction from the adaptor plate, wherein the first direction is opposite the second direction, and the first direction and the second direction are parallel with the longitudinal axis of the adapter plate, and one or more recesses in a top surface of the adaptor plate; and a sight comprising a second anchor, wherein the one or more recesses are configured to receive the second anchor, wherein the one or more recesses comprise a first recess disposed on a front side of the adapter plate and a second recess disposed on a rear side of the adapter plate.
