US12359900 - Composite sabot comprising angled undulated fibers, system, and methods of making and using the same

A sabot petal, comprising: a) an inner layer comprising: i. a plurality of woven undulated fibers; ii. a plurality of straight fibers interwoven with the undulated fibers; and b) an outer layer comprising woven fibers. a) an inner layer comprising: i. a plurality of woven undulated fibers; ii. a plurality of straight fibers interwoven with the undulated fibers; and i. a plurality of woven undulated fibers; ii. a plurality of straight fibers interwoven with the undulated fibers; and b) an outer layer comprising woven fibers.
