- A suppressor for a firearm, the suppressor comprising: a housing defining a first central passage; and a shell assembly concentrically disposed within the first central passage and defining a second central passage, the shell assembly including an inner member and a plurality of fins extending from the inner member, wherein: the inner member defines one or more apertures, the plurality of fins define one or more chambers and one or more other apertures in fluid communication with the one or more apertures and the second central passage, the plurality of fins include a first fin, a second fin, and a third fin, the first and second fins extend from the inner member in a first direction, and the third fin extends from the inner member in a second direction that intersects the first direction. a housing defining a first central passage; and a shell assembly concentrically disposed within the first central passage and defining a second central passage, the shell assembly including an inner member and a plurality of fins extending from the inner member, wherein: the inner member defines one or more apertures, the plurality of fins define one or more chambers and one or more other apertures in fluid communication with the one or more apertures and the second central passage, the plurality of fins include a first fin, a second fin, and a third fin, the first and second fins extend from the inner member in a first direction, and the third fin extends from the inner member in a second direction that intersects the first direction.
